What's new on bloxd.cc, newest first.

  • Enchant glint on armour

Enchanted armour shimmers now. Under any armour material there is an enchant glint option with five colours, and the iridescent sheen sweeps across the metal as you pose, animate and export. It plays through the still capture, the GIF and the video.

  • Armour and outfits no longer stack

An outfit is a full look and armour is its own layer, so picking one clears the other. Your character always shows a single clean loadout.

  • Armour in the customizer

Dress the player in armour. Pick a material and the full set appears, then toggle which pieces show. Wood, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Fur and Military are all here, and the armour follows your poses and animations into every capture.

  • Pose and export mobs

The customizer has a Player and Mobs toggle at the top now. Switch to Mobs, pick any creature from the vault, and rotate its body parts with per-part sliders. Capture a still or a spinning video with the pose held exactly, just like the posed players you already export.

  • Labels on mobs and items

The floating name tags used to be players only. Mobs and dropped items can carry the same label now, with a name, subtitle, colour and badges. Each tag floats just above its actor, so a short apple drop and a tall golem both sit right.

  • Resize any label

A Size slider scales a tag from small to large, so a title can loom over the shot while a caption stays subtle. It works the same on every actor you can label.

  • Scene timeline and camera paths

Scenes can occur over time now. Set keyframes so actors move, turn, grow and shrink, and fly the camera along its own path. Export the whole thing as a video that plays it out.

  • 1080p scene videos

Scene video export goes up to 1080p, and 1080p is the new default.

  • Type a time on the timeline

The time readout is editable, so you can type the exact moment to jump to instead of dragging the scrubber.

  • Taller builds

Ground stacks can reach 16 blocks high for proper towers and walls.

  • More mobs

The frost, spirit and magma variants that were missing are in the picker now, so the roster is complete.

  • Mobs can hold items and give off particles

Humanoid mobs can carry any vault item and emit the same particle effects players can.

  • Mob gear is optional

Armour and saddle pieces on mobs are off by default, so a cow shows up plain. Switch on the ones you want in the mob's Gear panel.

  • Hold an item in either hand

Players and mobs can carry a separate item per hand, so sword and shield or a dual wield both work.

  • Gun effects

New muzzle flash and tracer effects make it look like a gun is firing. Aim them with rotate and tilt, then keyframe a tracer to streak away.

  • Five more particle effects

New effects to give off: crit stars, a spooky face, sleep Z's, drifting dust and rising arrows.

  • Tilt dropped items

Items have pitch and roll now, so you can lay a sword flat or set it mid-throw.

  • Custom keybinds

Remap the scene editor's keyboard controls to whatever suits you, from a new Controls panel.

  • A tidier editor panel

Choosing Paint opens the block picker for you, and selecting an actor folds away the scene wide panels so you stay on what you picked.

  • Play and export scenes as video

Press play to watch a scene run, with players animating and drops spinning, then export it.

  • Texture packs in scenes

Apply the game's official texture packs to your scene ground and block drops.

  • Scene particle effects

Players can give off particle effects such as sparkles, hearts, flames and smoke.

  • Better building

Face based building like Blockbench, columns that mix block types, an erase tool and a box fill.

  • Scene Studio

A new tool for composing in-game style scenes and exporting them as thumbnails. Place players, mobs, dropped items and more on a block built ground under the game sky.

  • Time of day lighting

Day, sunrise, sunset and night presets, with a movable sun or moon and optional shadows.

  • Poseable mobs

Rotate a mob's body parts to pose it for a shot.

  • Nametag and text generator

Make game accurate nametags and captions, then download them as transparent images.

  • Icon library

Browse and download the game's interface icons.

  • Character posing and held items

Custom pose mode lets you set each limb by hand, and you can put any vault item in your character's hand with grips that match the game.

  • Character animations and video

Play animations on your character and export them as a video or a GIF.

  • Hats and capes

Added hats and capes to the character creator.

  • New creator libraries

Game sounds and music, a seamless texture background generator, the official gamemode thumbnail set, plus a big sweep that brought in thousands of assets.
